Review:

This Revell kit labeled Bell 412 KLu/RAF was released at the beginning of this century.

The kit is based on the Italeri kit CH-146 Griffon #084 and also contains some new parts for the KLu version.

The new parts are floatation bags for the skids and a rescue hoist. However Revell mixed some things up and included the type of floatation bags attached to the high type of skids which are unfortunately not included in the kit.

So you have the option to: leave them off or try to scratchbuilt the high type of skids.

As usual the quality of the Revell decals is very good, it contains markings for following 2 machines:

Agusta Bell 412, Koninklijke Luchtmacht, 303 SAR Squadron, Leeuwarden 1999
Bell 412 Griffin HT1, RAF Defence Helicopter Flying School/Nr. 60 (Reserve) Squadron, RAF Shawbury 1999

In Revell's catalogue it had number 04461.
