AH-1W Super Cobra

This is my Super Cobra in 1/72. I made it as a fun build in a short period of time. I chose the Cobra because I really like that 3-tone-camo.

The model shows a bird from the HMLA-169 "Vipers" from 1987.

I tried to correct the exhausts of the Revell-kit with Putty.

The gatling gun was rebuild using hollow needles.

I used colours from RoG and Tamiya.

The cockpit was filled with some cables, missing levers and the armor plates. The seatbelts were made from tape. Here's a picture I took during the build.

And here you can see the modified front window.

The rotorblades were removed from the rotorhead and attached angular.

In total it's a nice kit but if you want to let it shine it needs some serious rescribing because of the raised details. I hope you like the build and every comment and tip is welcome!
