Mil Mi-24V Hind E

As I am a newbie on this forum I want to first introduce myself. I'm Hugo Luyten, living in the Netherlands, and a member of the Belgian KMK modeling club. I normally build 1:35 AFV's, this is my first helicopter.

The details on the model are very good, the fuselage and covers of the air intake will need some rework and putty. The pictures were taken during dryfitting (everything is still separated) and before airbrushing the cockpit and wheel bays.

I built the Czech version using the decals from DP Casper.

All airbrushing was done with Gunze, thinned down with the Tamiya regular thinner and their Lacquer thinner (for the white). Weathering started with some light greyish filter to tone down the colors, panel lines and local pinwashes were done with oils using Van Dyke Brown, Warm Grey and Lamp Black. Filthy spots were also done with oils. Finally details were painted with Vallejo, and some lines were redone with Vallejo 822 SS Camo Black (my favourit color).
